Smart Driver Course

AARP presents a Smart Driver Course at the Colleyville Senior Center, 2512 Glade Rd., designed to improve driving skills and make participants more aware of other drivers. The course can be used to qualify for insurance discounts but not to get a ticket dismissed. Cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members; registration is required. Instructor is John Chreno. Gaylord Texan Resort opens its annual ICE! exhibit with more than 2 million pounds of ice hand-carved by a team of Chinese artisans in a 14,000-square-foot exhibit hall kept at 9 degrees. The 29th annual Mid-Cities Stamp Show, with free admission and parking, takes place Friday and Saturday at the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 S.
