Carroll ‘Pink Out’ honors survivors
The Carroll school district kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the annual Pink Out Game Friday at Dragon Stadium. Breast cancer survivors were honored on the field before kickoff of the football game between the Carroll Dragons and the Trinity Trojans, which Carroll won 42-28. During the game, members of CISD’s Peer Assistance Leadership or PALs class, passed buckets to collect donations for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Carroll district employees will have the chance to donate to the charity and wear pink with jeans on Thursdays during the month of October.
