Fatal crash investigated on FM 1187 near Ben Day Murrin Road, Sheriff’s Office says

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic crash on Tuesday afternoon.
All directions of FM 1187 are shut down between Ben Day Murrin Road and Mustang Creek Drive in southwest Tarrant County as of about 2 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post.
The accident scene is still active and further details about what led to the crash have not been released.
The Fort Worth Fire Department is assisting on the scene, a spokesperson confirmed. Drivers should seek an alternate route while the highway is closed.
