After thunderstorms and rain erupted on Saturday in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, electricity outages continued on Sunday.

About 5,000 Oncor customers were among the 240 outages at midday Sunday, according to the energy company.

The outages affected about 1,000 customers in Tarrant County, according to Oncor. About 2,100 customers were without power in Dallas County.

The company said that was reviewing estimates of restoration times.
