A North Richland Hills Tex-Mex restaurant is temporarily closed after an early morning fire Saturday, Blue Goose Cantina staff said on social media.

“Everyone is safe, and we’re beyond grateful to the North Richland Hills Fire Department for their lightning-fast response,” the post reads.

The 41-year-old Tex-Mex chain opened its first North Richland Hills location on Jan. 21. The cantina is known for its margaritas and fresh, handmade tortillas.

Firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire at the restaurant, 9005 N. Tarrant Parkway, about 7:25 a.m., the department said on Facebook. No injuries were reported.

North Richland Hills Fire Department spokesperson Will McAfee told the Star-Telegram that the blaze was confined to a small area, and the damage was minimal. The cause is still under investigation, McAfee said.
