Six injured when car crashes into Duff’s Famous Wings in Southlake on Friday

Six people were injured Friday evening when a car crashed into Duff’s Famous Wings in Southlake, according to a statement from the Southlake Department of Public Safety.

Southlake police and fire crews responded to the restaurant in the 2700 block of East Southlake Boulevard around 6:30 p.m., according to the statement.

Two people suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries, three people suffered minor injuries and one person was treated and released at the scene, officials said.

Three of the injured were taken to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine, and two were transported to Methodist Southlake Medical Center.

The cause of the crash is under investigation and the driver is cooperating, officials said. Preliminary investigation suggests impairment was not involved.
