Passenger dead after single-vehicle crash in Hurst, police say

A passenger was killed after being thrown from a vehicle early Saturday during a single-car accident in Hurst, according to police.

The crash occurred in the 200 block of Brown Trail about 2:20 a.m., Hurst Police Department officials said on Facebook. The passenger died at the scene.

The department’s CRASH Team and detectives are investigating. They will determine whether the driver should be charged, according to the Facebook post.

The person who died will be publicly identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.
