A woman was assaulted on a south Arlington trail Monday, May 12. Police are seeking information on the suspect, Kennedale police said in a social media post.

The woman was walking along a trail in the Sheri Capehart Nature Preserve, 5201 Bowman Springs Road, about 9:30 a.m. when police said she was assaulted by an unknown suspect.

The victim told police that the man grabbed her arm from behind and fell on top of her. She was able to fight off the attacker and fled while calling the police.

Arlington police described the suspect as a 30-year-old white male, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, bald with a pale complexion. The man was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, police said.
