21-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash Tuesday morning, Grapevine police say

A 21-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle hit another vehicle early Tuesday, Grapevine police said.

The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound in the 3100 block of Ira E. Woods Avenue in Grapevine when a vehicle going the opposite direction made a turn into the parking lot of a business, police said.

The motorcycle hitthe vehicle and the driver was thrown off on impact, according to a police statement.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died of his injuries, police said. The driver of the other vehicle was treated for minor injuries.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the motorcyclist as Nicholas Jesus DeBrei. of Colleyville.

The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed, Grapevine police said.
