The Amber Alert issued Oct. 1 for a missing 16-year-old Hurst girl has been canceled after the teen returned home.

Officials said they were notified the morning of Oct. 5 that the 16-year-old was back home and unharmed, according to a Hurst Police Department social media post. Her disappearance appears to be voluntary.

The missing teen had been last seen at the intersection of Bluebonnet and Arwine Drives in Hurst about 8:30 or 9 p.m. on Sept. 29.
