The Texas Department of Public Safety has discontinued an Amber Alert previously issued on Monday for a 6-month-old child.

The baby girl, Nova Brady, was found by the Missouri Highway Patrol just east of Springfield, Missouri, on Monday, Rockwall police said. Nova was found with her parents — Margaret Van Aken and Dakota Brady — who are currently detained with criminal charges pending, according to police.

Nova was taken early Monday morning from a foster home in Rockwall by her biological parents, who had previously lost their parental rights, police said.

An Amber Alert was issued at 8:42 a.m. Monday by the Texas Department of Public Safety, who discontinued the alert at 11:33 a.m.

Authorities did not say what charges Margaret Van Aken, 21, and Dakota Brady, 26, are facing.
