The Weatherford casting notice comes a week after news broke that “Yellowstone” is coming to film scenes in Fort Worth on Sept. 3.
Casting for the Fort Worth filming is closed, according to the show’s casting department. The scenes being shot in Cowtown revolve around a concert scene featuring country singer Lainey Wilson, who plays a musician on the series.
The Weatherford filming is a homecoming for Sheridan, who has a ranch in the city.
“Yellowstone” returns with new episodes to the Paramount Network on Nov. 10. These last crop of episodes will be the final for the Western series, which has been on the air since 2018.
A majority of the cast is coming back for the end, minus series star Kevin Costner, who was tied up with his Western film epic — “Horizon: An American Saga.”
