Globe Life Field will host the best players in baseball for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday. While Arlington may host the main festivities, several events are spread out across North Texas, including the 2024 MLB Draft in Fort Worth on Sunday.
The summer heat will be in full swing over the next several days in North Texas with temperatures around triple digits, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth.
Most of the MLB All-Star events start on Friday and last until Tuesday. Here’s a look at the weather for each day:
Saturday
- Scheduled events: Celebrity Softball Game and All-Star Futures Game at Globe Life Field, MLB All-Star Village at Choctaw Stadium
The weather will be hot and sunny again on Saturday, with highs in the mid to upper 90s. There’s a chance of scattered storms Saturday afternoon, which will likely stay southeast of the metroplex.
Sunday
- Scheduled events: 2024 MLB Draft at Fort Worth Stockyards, MLB All-Star Village at Choctaw Stadium
Hot and sunny weather will continue Sunday, as temperatures will hover around the upper 90s and triple digits, according to the NWS.
Monday
- Scheduled events: MLB Home Run Derby at Globe Life Field, MLB All-Star Village at Choctaw Stadium
Temperatures will increase to start early next week, with highs right around 100 degrees.
Tuesday
- Scheduled events: MLB All-Star Game at Globe Life Field, MLB All-Star Village at Choctaw Stadium
Hot and humid temperatures will continue into Tuesday, as high temperatures will once again flirt with 100 degrees.
