Hillwood Communities is adding a master-planned community in Denton County.

The Perot company has broken ground on 800-acre Treeline, which will feature 2,500 single-family homes on FM 407 in Justin, according to a release from the Dallas-based developer.

Homes in the first phase will be available for sale in mid-2025. Builders include American Legend Homes, Beazer Homes, David Weekley homes, D.R. Horton, Highland Homes, HistoryMaker Homes, Pulte Homes and Tri Pointe Homes.

The 800-acre community will feature homes on 40-, 45- and 50-foot lots. Prices will start in the high $300,000s.

“At Treeline, we’ve curated an idyllic environment where families will feel a true sense of belonging,” said Fred Balda, president of Hillwood Communities.

Treeline will have community parks, event spaces, a pool, pickleball courts and a planned elementary school in the Northwest school district.

Hillwood has developed more than 100 master-planned communities in 13 states and Costa Rica, including Harvest, a 1,200-acre community near Argyle.
