Actress Donna Mills is coming to Fort Worth for a free wine tasting event at a newly opened Sundance Square wine shop.

Mills will be at Wines From A Broad from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at 317 Houston St. The event is free to attend, but the wine shop is encouraging folks to RSVP online beforehand.

Wines From A Broad sources wine only from female winemakers, to showcase the depth of talent in the industry, according to company. The recently opened shop comes from chef Dena Peterson-Shaskan, who is also co-owner of the nearby Sundance Square restaurant 3rd Street Market.

Wednesday’s event will be a complimentary public wine tasting with Mills in attendance, who also happens to co-own and operate her own winery, Mandeville Vineyards, in Los Angeles.

Mills has been acting for 50 years, appearing in such projects as “Knots Landing,” “Play Misty for Me” and “General Hospital.” Mills also made an appearance in Jordan Peele’s sci-fi horror movie “Nope,” which came out last year.
