Avoid these four Department of Public Safety offices in Dallas-Fort Worth if you need a driver license without having to wait in a long line.
Cleburne, Fort Worth East, Lewisville and Fort Worth South made the list of longest wait times for new licenses in the state. You’ll have to wait about an hour at each office to get a new driver license, as of July 11.
Note that wait times vary by appointment type and change based on reports from the previous business day. The driver license office wait time provided for each location is an estimate of how long you’ll have to wait from the scheduled appointment time until being called to a service counter.
