Need a Texas driver’s license fast? These spots have the shortest wait times
Long lines are nothing new for people trying to get a driver’s license in Texas, but some areas of the state have shorter wait times than others.
Offices in the southern and western parts of the state have little to no wait time for Texans trying to make an appointment for a new license or state ID, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Wait times fluctuate day-to-day, but here’s a look at the easiest places to get a new driver license in Texas as of Oct. 20.
