Large house fire near Benbrook; public should avoid the area, officials say
There was a large house fire in southern Tarrant County near Benbrook on Friday evening, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office. Officials are asking the public to avoid the area.
On Friday at around 6:00 p.m., Tarrant County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a large fire in the 12000 block of Bella Colina Drive.
The first deputies on scene made sure no one was in the house and then worked to block off surrounding streets so fire crews could access the area, according to the sheriff’s office.
There are multiple fire departments on scene as well as the Red Cross.
Law enforcement is asking the public to avoid this area to allow fire crews to work.
