Silver Alert canceled for missing elderly woman from Wylie, Texas
A Silver Alert issued Tuesday for a missing 82-year-old Wylie woman was canceled shortly after midnight Wednesday.
The Wylie Police Department was searching for Cecilia Garcia. Authorities said she was diagnosed with a cognitive impairment, and they believed her disappearance posed a credible threat to her health and safety.
“Ms. Garcia has been located and reunited with her family,” the Wylie Police Department posted on social media.
Wylie is about an hour away from Fort Worth.
Anyone with information regarding Garcia and her whereabouts was asked to contact the Wylie Police Department at 972-442-8171.
