Silver Alert canceled for elderly man from Crandall, Texas
A Silver Alert issued for a missing 74-year-old man was canceled Tuesday evening. The alert had come out of the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office.
The alert was discontinued at 8:10 p.m. and had been issued for Gerard Johnson.

Crandall is about an hour away from Fort Worth.
Officers believed Johnson’s disappearance had posed a credible threat to Johnson’s own health and safety.
