Texas Amber Alert canceled for 2-year-old from Royse City after father turns himself in

A Texas Amber Alert issued out of Royse City for a missing 2-year-old was canceled Thursday night.

Jordan Sangbong’s father, Desmond “Daddy” Sangbong, 37, turned himself in at the Royse City Police Department with the help of his attorney, according to the police chief.

The 2-year-old was dropped off separately by a family member at the police station at around 9:15 p.m. Jordan is in good condition, unharmed and has been turned over to Child Protective Services, police said.

The child had last been seen about 10 p.m. Wednesday and the alert was issued Thursday evening.

Royse City is in Rockwall County and is about an hour and a half from Fort Worth.
