North Texas resident wins $1 million lottery prize

A Watauga resident won $1.025 million in the Texas Two Step Texas Lottery game Sept. 26 with a ticket purchased at a Fort Worth grocery store, according to a Texas Lottery Commission news release.

The winner, who asked to remain anonymous, purchased the ticket at the Albertsons located at 4400 Western Center Blvd.

According to the release, the winning number was 10-14-25-34 with 20 on the bonus ball.

The Texas Lottery started in 1992. It’s generated $35.6 billion in state revenue, according to the news release, and contributed $29.7 billion to the Foundation School Fund, an organization that supports Texas public education.
