Woman shot in leg near east Fort Worth apartment complex, police say

A woman was in serious condition early Wednesday after being shot near an east Fort Worth apartment complex, Fort Worth police said.
The woman suffered a gunshot wound to her left leg and she was taken to a local hospital.
Fort Worth police responded to a shooting call just before 1 a.m. Wednesday in the 4700 block of Norma Street near the La Hacienda Apartments.
A woman reported she had been shot, but she was unable to provide any possible motive for the shooting, a detailed suspect description or the suspect’s direction of travel leaving the shooting location.
Gun violence unit detectives are investigating the shooting.
No one has been arrested.
