Woman killed after being struck by pickup truck in Cleburne, police say
A 44-year-old woman has died after being struck by a pickup truck in Cleburne on Thursday night.
The accident occurred around 9:45 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Main Street.
Police said the woman was walking on the right side of the roadway, in the same direction as traffic, when she was hit by a truck traveling in the right lane.
The driver remained at the scene and has been cooperative with the police investigation.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she died. The investigation remains ongoing.
