Flipped car kills 1 in crash near Texas Motor Speedway in north Fort Worth, police say
One person has died after a single-vehicle accident in north Fort Worth late Thursday night.
The crash occurred around 10 p.m. in the 16200 block of Lone Star Circle, near Texas Motor Speedway.
Police said only one car was involved in the wreck and that the vehicle flipped over.
The driver was found dead at the scene, police said, but they did not provide additional details.
The investigation remains ongoing.
