A Watauga resident recently claimed a top prize-winning lottery ticket worth $1,000 a week for the next 20 years.

The winning Texas Lottery Weekly Grand scratch ticket was purchased at Big Z at 6701 Rufe Snow Drive in Watauga.

The winner chose the weekly payment option. The total is not to exceed $1,040,000, according to the Texas Lottery.

The winner elected to remain anonymous.

This is the fourth and final top prize to be claimed in the Weekly Grand game. The game offers more than $34.6 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 4.06, including break-even prizes.
