Body of tuber found in North Texas lake; boater accused of hitting victim, police say

Search teams found the body of a woman Tuesday morning in Lake Granbury, days after she was hit by a boat.

The woman was riding on a tube behind a boat when another boat struck her, authorities said. The driver of the boat that hit her has been arrested and faces a charge in the incident, according to authorities.

The woman was identified as Chase Coleman, 24, of Mabank, according to an official with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department on Tuesday.

The incident occurred Saturday at Lake Granbury, which is about 45 minutes southwest of Fort Worth.

Authorities arrested Dylan Cooper Cohen, 28, of Colleyville in the case. He was released from jail after posting $15,000 bond shortly after his arrest.

Cohen faces a charge of intoxication assault, authorities have said.
