Arlington I-30 crash victim identified
The woman who died after the SUV she was in was struck by a Greyhound bus in Arlington was identified Monday.
Torie Davis, 28, died at 5:39 a.m. Sunday at the scene of the crash in the westbound lane of I-30 near Collins Street, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
Davis was in a disabled SUV on the highway when a bus carrying about 40 people struck the SUV, police said.
The other occupant of the SUV was flown to a hospital with serious injuries, and 16 passengers on the bus were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating.
