Man dies in Arlington crash when motorcycle hits curb, is thrown, authorities say

A 28-year-old man died late Monday when he was thrown from the motorcycle he was operating as it struck a median curb in Arlington, police said.

A 28-year-old man died late Monday when he was thrown from the motorcycle he was operating as it hit a median curb in Arlington, police said.

Jarrin Stephens was pronounced dead at Medical City Arlington, a hospital, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. He lived in Euless.

Stephens was traveling north on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive when he crashed about 11:15 p.m. in the 3700 block and lost control, Arlington police said.

Speed was a factor in the crash, and Stephens was not wearing a helmet, police said.
