The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a 72-year-old Arlington man killed in an single-vehicle accident Thursday morning.

Michael Jarrett, 72, was driving a Lexus ES-350 westbound along Abram Street around 11:55 a.m., when the vehicle went off the road and hit a concrete pillar on the Fielder Road overpass.

Jarrett, the only person in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have not ruled out the possibility that the driver experienced a medical emergency just prior to the crash.
