Man dies in motorcycle crash on I-20 in Arlington, police say
A man was killed on Wednesday when he fell off of his motorcycle as he was riding it on Interstate 20 in Arlington, police said.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as Jesse Allen Cook, 36, of Burleson.
Police responded to the crash in the 6200 block of West I-20 around 11:55 a.m., police said in a news release. They found the man and pronounced him dead.
Investigators determined the motorcyclist had lost control of his bike for an unknown reason, police said, falling into the freeway. The bike continued moving west down the road, striking a car.
No one in the car was injured, police said.
Police don’t believe the man was hit by any vehicles on I-20, according to Lt. Christopher Cook, a police spokesman.
Detectives were interviewing multiple witnesses on Wednesday to try to figure out what happened, police said.
Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Investigator David Szatkowski at 817-459-5786.
