Officials have identified a man who died at an Arlington apartment complex on Friday.

Lucio Ramirez-Jauregui, 34, lived in the same apartment building where he was shot, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. Ramirez-Jauregui died from gunshot wounds to the back, the medical examiner’s office stated.

Officers responding to a shooting call at about 11:10 p.m. in the 500 block of Jackson Square Drive found Ramirez-Jauregui on the upper walkway of the complex, according to a news release from the Arlington Police Department.

The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, the release said. No suspect has been identified but detectives have not ruled out robbery as a motive, according to the release.
