Tarrant County reports one coronavirus death in Southlake, 211 new cases

Tarrant County reported 211 coronavirus cases for the second consecutive day Friday, along with one additional death.

The county has reported 43,937 COVID-19 cases, including 592 deaths and 38,769 recoveries.

The latest death is of a Southlake woman in her 90s. It’s the fewest COVID deaths reported since the county reported none on Aug. 31. The 211 cases reported Friday and Thursday is the fewest reported since 210 on Sept. 2.

The county has corrected the hometown of a death originally reported to be from Fort Worth. The woman was a Forest Hill resident.
