Four more living center employees among 32 new Denton County coronavirus cases

Denton County added 32 new coronavirus cases for a total of 398, including 100 recovered patients and seven deaths.

Four new patients — all employees — were reported at the Denton State Supported Living Center. There have been 97 confirmed COVID-19 cases at the DSSLC, including 50 residents.

Of the total case count, 112 patients, including 50 residents of the DSSLC, live in Denton, 35 live in Little Elm, 34 in Carrollton and 31 in Frisco; 38patients live in unincorporated Denton County.

Among the total cases, 87 patients were at one point hospitalized, 310 in home isolation and one is pending investigation.

More than 75% of transmission type has come through community spread, including 153 cases who had contact with a previously known patient.
