Collin County confirms 37 new coronavirus cases, over 1,000 negative tests

Collin County reported 37 new coronavirus cases for a total of 343, including four deaths and 129 patients who have recovered.

Of the 210 active cases, 26 patients are hospitalized and 184 remain in home isolation.

The county has reported 1,042 negative COVID-19 tests and is monitoring 435 residents for symptoms.

Seventy-five patients are in their 40s, 73 patients are in their 50s, 64 are in their 30s, 55 are in their 60s, 41 in their 20s, 14 are 70 or older, and eight in their teens.

More than 43% of cases were contracted through community spread.
