Bridgeport hospital offering drive-thru coronavirus testing for Wise County-area residents
Drive-thru testing for the coronavirus is available at the Wise Health System facility in Bridgeport for Wise County and surrounding area residents.
Tests must be scheduled by calling 940-600-4969 and you must meet the screening requirements to schedule a testing appointment.
Among the criteria to be cleared for testing is being a healthcare front-line provider, law enforcement officer or EMS worker who has been exposed or sick. Other criteria include recent international travel or travel to heavily COVID-19-hit areas. If you have symptoms including cough, fever or shortness of breath, or have underlying chronic medical conditions, you also qualify. Patients must be age 2 or older.
If you’ve had close contact with a suspected or confirmed patient, you also meet the criteria.
