Richardson woman, 18, among 13 new coronavirus cases in Collin County

Collin County reported 13 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, including an 18-year-old Richardson woman.

The county has confirmed 66 patients, eight of whom have recovered.

Two of the new patients are hospitalized and four have underlying health conditions. Seven of the new patients recently traveled, including one internationally.

The new patients include three in McKinney, two each in Frisco, Plano and Wylie, and one each in Celina, Anna and Dallas.

Six of the new patients are in their 40s, five are in their 60s and one is a 72-year-old Frisco man.

McKinney Mayor George Fuller ordered residents and non-essential businesses to shelter in place effective at midnight Wednesday. Collin County issued less restrictive shelter in place orders that went into effect at midnight Tuesday that allowed businesses to remain open as long as social distancing guidelines were respected.
