Dallas County up to 14 coronavirus cases after 3 more ‘presumptive positive’ tests
Dallas County confirmed three more people tested presumptive positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the total of probable cases in the county to 14.
The 12th, 13th and 14th people to test presumptive positive for coronavirus are a man in his 30s, a man in his 50s and a man in his 60s, according to a press release from the county.
Two of the men are hospitalized, and the other is self-isolating at his home. One man is a Coppell resident, one is from Dallas and the third lives out of state.
One of the cases is related to international travel, one is related to domestic travel and the third person caught the virus on a cruise, the county said.
“Times of uncertainty make us want to come together,” Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said in the news release. “Worshiping at home or in small groups is a break in habit for many. I thank all who normally would attend a large service, especially our faith leaders, for your sacrifice and focus on fighting community spread.”
Tarrant County reported its fourth case of the virus Saturday.
