Two Fort Worth communities will bring nearly 1,300 new rental homes and apartments
With two new developments, Fort Worth will get nearly 1,300 new rental houses and apartments.
Saint Augustine-based DLP Capital announced it purchased two tracts of land, one in south Fort Worth and the other northwest of downtown.
Orchard Farms will be located at Shelby Road and Rendon Road and will contain 643 single-family rental homes. The three- and four-bedroom homes will cost between $1,850 and $2,100 per month.
Mansions at Marine Creek will be located at 5201 Shadydell Drive and will feature 638 multifamily rental homes. The price points for apartments in the complex are: $1,300 for a one-bedroom, $1,600 for a two-bedroom and $1,800 for a three-bedroom.
“There is a growing demand for affordable workforce housing to rent across the country, and DLP will be able to supply the area with brand-new, state-of-the-art homes,” said DLP CEO Don Wenner.
The new developments are expected to come online in the spring of 2023.
