Work underway on Marriott hotel coming to this trendy Fort Worth neighborhood
Construction is underway on a hotel coming to a trendy Fort Worth neighborhood.
A Springhill Suites by Marriott hotel at the northeast corner of South Main Street and East Vickery Boulevard has filed for grading permits, drainage studies, and other construction paperwork, city records show.
The five-story, 156-room hotel was approved in 2025.
The hotel will include 44 parking spaces, according to the commercial building permit application that was submitted in 2025, and 38 additional spaces through a parking agreement with a lot across Industrial Drive.
Wisconsin-based developer Raymond Management Co. will own and operate the hotel, which is its fifth project in Fort Worth.
The company developed the downtown Hampton Inn & Suites, and the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites in the Medical District, and the Residence Inn at the Waterside shopping complex in southeast Fort Worth.
According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the hotel is a $19.8 million project with a completion date of October 2027. Construction began in March, according to TDLR.
