Haltom City updates planned opening date for Tarrant County’s first H Mart

Tarrant County’s first H Mart is expected to open in the spring of 2026, according to a Haltom City spokesperson.

Nicholas Ballard, a spokesperson for Haltom City, said the exterior of the store is complete, but crews are still working on the interior. The Asian grocery store is the anchor of a 50-acre mixed use development at NE Loop 820 and Beach Street.

The shopping center is 100% leased Ballard said. McDonald’s opened last week and the signs are up at Kickin’ Crab and TESO Live.

The Haltom City H Mart location is the fourth one in North Texas. A location opened in October at 2534 Royal Lane in northwest Dallas.

A spokesperson for H Mart said the company does not have a confirmed opening date for the Haltom City location.
