H-E-B’s newest location in Melissa is looking to hire 600 new employees before opening sometime this spring.
The Texas-based grocery store now has operations all over Dallas-Fort Worth in Frisco, Plano, McKinney, and Allen. Two new stores popped up in 2024 in Alliance and Mansfield. This year, Rockwall and Prosper will also get an H-E-B.
The 131,000-square-foot Melissa location will be located on the corner of U.S. 75 and Highway 121. In addition to groceries, this store will have a drive-thru barbecue restaurant and a drive-thru pharmacy.
H-E-B hosted a job fair on Jan. 14 to start hiring their hundreds of partners. The store has a lot of spots to fill, so do not fret if you missed out. Here’s how you can apply.

H-E-B asks those interested to fill out an online application. The store is seeking pitmasters, cake decorators and overnight stockers, among others..
H-E-B offers benefits, including a 10% employee discount, enrollment in H-E-B’s stock plan, a 401K, paid vacation time and enrollment in health insurance plans.
Most applications must be in by Jan. 14 but some also offer a Jan. 15 or Jan. 22 deadline.
