How do TCU, SMU and UT Dallas rank for business schools? Hint: All three went up this year.

North Texas business schools are rising in the ranks.

Bloomberg Businessweek published new ratings this week for the best master of business administration programs in the country, with three Dallas-Fort Worth graduate schools in the top 50.

SMU’s Cox School of Business ranked 27th this year, a jump of 13 points compared to 2022.

The University of Texas at Dallas ranked 37th for its Naveen Jindal School of Management.

At 42nd place, the TCU Neeley School of Business increased by 11 points from 53rd place last year.

The Fort Worth school ranked best in Texas for categories in learning and networking for its full-time MBA program. TCU’s graduate program also ranked second in the state for the entrepreneurship category

Hettie Richardson, interim dean for the TCU Neeley School of Business, said the graduate program has an outsized return on investment through its focus on student resources and industry connections across North Texas and beyond.

“Our students have access to real-world experience and an individualized, personal journey to accelerate and amplify their knowledge and skills,” Richardson said in a release. “Neeley graduates are innovative thinkers, who are prepared for the future of business and ready to lead the way.”

Outside of North Texas, UT Austin and Texas A&M also ranked among the country’s top 50 graduate programs for business.
