Amber Alert canceled after missing San Jacinto County, Texas girl found safe

The AMBER Alert for a missing San Jacinto County girl has been canceled after the 7-year-old was found safe, officials said Saturday.

“(She) has been located and is deemed to be in good health,” said San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers in a Dec. 14 social media post.

The girl was last seen in the 900 block of County Line Road in Shepherd, Texas, on Sept. 25, according to the alert.

Anyone with information was urged to call the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office at 936-653-4376 or call 911 if they had seen the girl.
