Texas restaurants are a big winner from the FIFA World Cup, as visitors fill social media with dozens of photos of giant barbecue platters, tall frozen margaritas and anything from Buc-ees.

But one restaurant in particular is drawing love for its burgers: Rodeo Goat.

Fans of Japan in particular found Rodeo Goat locations in Arlington, Dallas and Houston and were stunned to find burgers with toppings such as grilled peaches, bacon-onion marmalade, blackberry compote or a jalapeño-pickle chutney.

A post on X.com in Japanese by “@r_rio2025” had been viewed nearly 100,000 times in midweek.

A Dallas Rodeo Goat was “seriously delicious,” the commenter wrote — “The beer was cheap abd generous portions too.”

A fan at the Arlington location 1 mile from the temporarily renamed “Dallas Stadium” wrote in Japanese, “’I’ve never had such an expensive burger before, but it was the most delicious one I’ve ever had.”

Other fans said the order of fries was “ridiculously huge” and “served in a trash-can lid.” They even praised the size of the salad.

Fans describe trying several of the decked-out specialty burgers.

However, I did not find where anyone tried Rodeo Goat’s reigning “Burger of the Month” champion for Father’s Day and July 4: the “Dad Bod” burger.

There is no question why it’s called the Dad Bod.

The burger is topped with bacon and a fried queso-mac-and-cheese patty.

It’s trimmed with more queso and a Fresno pepper mayo.

So far, it’s Rodeo Goat’s No. 2 Burger of the Month all-time behind a hefty burger named for the all-time superstar rodeo bull, Bodacious.

It’s another hit for the Dallas-based burger grill that began at 2836 Bledsoe St. in the West 7th neighborhood in Fort Worth and has expanded to 11 restaurants.

The Arlington location at 333 E. Division St. is within walking distance of the stadium.

Other locations are in Dallas, Houston, Addison, Coppell, Denton, Frisco, Rockwall and Plano; rodeogoat.com
