Terry Black’s is open in Fort Worth. Now where’s dinner Christmas or New Year’s Eve?

Four new restaurants are opening this week, and holiday options are growing in the last week of 2024.

New this week:

Terry Black’s BBQ, open at 2926 W. Seventh St., a Fort Worth location for the Austin-based Central Texas-style barbecue restaurants from a legacy Lockhart family known mainly for beef or pork ribs and sausage.

World of Beer Bar & Kitchen, scheduled to reopen Dec. 21 at 3252 W. Seventh St., a Florida-based craft beer bar and pub known for German pretzels and burger specials.

Los Vaqueros, scheduled to reopen Dec. 26 at 2513 Rodeo Plaza one block south after its old location closes after lunch Dec. 22. It’s the flagship of the Cisneros family’s 45-year Tex-Mex restaurant legacy, featuring brisket tacos along with basic Tex-Mex.

Terra Mediterranean, scheduled to reopen Dec. 21 at 2932 Crockett St. a half-block east of its long-ago location in the Artisan Circle shops.

It’s a lunch buffet and dinner restaurant known for saffron chicken, kebabs and sides from the Chanaa and Shanaa families, who also own La Cardona across the street and Ali Baba Mediterranean in Dallas.
