Lack of hot water and proper certification closes two Plano restaurants
Recent Plano restaurant health inspections resulted in the temporary closure of two restaurants, according to city data compiled by the Star-Telegram.
Plano uses a 100-point inspection system, meaning 100 is a perfect score and 70 is a poor score.
There were a total of 99 inspections from June 14 to June 20, which resulted in the following:
Temporary closure of Wulf Burger, at 3100 Independence Parkway Ste 310, for a lack of hot water. The restaurant received a score of 62 and were closed until hot water was restored.
Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea, 280 Legacy Drive Ste 102, was closed due to no certified food managers on site at the time of inspection. The restaurant received a score of 68 and has since been re-inspected and cleared to open.
Eat Street Indian Kitchen, at 3948 Legacy Drive Ste 112, was cleared to reopen after a new inspection showed no signs of live roaches.
There were no signs of rodents at any businesses during this inspection period, but dead roaches were found at Conservatory at Plano, at 6401 Ohio Drive.
The Sonic at 4025 Mapleshade Lane was found to have liquid leaking from the ceiling onto the cooking surfaces. A follow-up inspection showed that the leak had been fixed.
