Super Bowl food: 5 local spots around Fort Worth we love for their wings

Wings and football are like a quarterback and his offensive line – one isn’t complete without the other.

The Seattle Seahawks will take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday, Feb. 8. And for those who celebrate, you know the food can be just as important as the big game.

According to the National Chicken Council, wings became more popular around the same time that sports bars with multiple TVs and satellite streaming became popular in the 1980s, because the dish is shareable and goes well with beer.

Whether you want to watch the game at a bar or in the comfort of your home, there are plenty of local businesses to pick up wings from.

We aren’t talking about Wingstop or Buffalo Wild Wings. Here are a few local Fort Worth restaurants that serve a dang-good chicken wing.
