1 Arlington restaurant temporarily closed for various health violations

One Arlington restaurant was temporarily closed for health violations, according to city data compiled by the Star-Telegram.

Oscar’s Cantina, at 3206 E. Park Row Drive, was temporarily closed during the routine inspection on March 28. The city health inspectors observed violations including cross contamination, lack of sanitizing solution for food contact surfaces, employees not washing their hands, toilets not operating properly, lack of hot water at three compartment sinks and a major leak at the hand-washing sink, according to a spokesperson for the City of Arlington. The restaurant scored 77 during this inspection cycle.

Oscar’s Cantina was re-opened after a follow-up inspection on April 2 after the violations were corrected, the spokesperson said.

El Dos De Oros, at 905 W. Pioneer Parkway Suite A, scored 71. Reinspections will be conducted for restaurants that score 75 or less.

There were 21 followup inspections during this inspection cycle, city records show.
