2 Arlington restaurants temporarily closed for health violations, city says

Two Arlington restaurants were temporarily closed and 18 restaurants had follow-up inspections due to health violations, according to data from the city compiled by the Star-Telegram.

Arlington’s health inspections function on a 100-point system. A score of 100 points is considered perfect and 70 is considered extremely poor. Reinspections will be conducted for restaurants that score 75 or less.

There were 56 safety inspections of businesses and other locations that serve food, and two eateries were closed during the city’s March 16 to March 22 inspection cycle.

Texas Fish Chicken Grill at 1030 W. Arkansas Lane Suite 206 and Pastamasta at 2151 N. Collins St. Suite 105 were temporarily closed by the City of Arlington due to health violations, according to city records. Both restaurants reopened after follow-up inspections, according to the reports.

The Star-Telegram contacted an Arlington city official for more details on the violations and has not yet received a response.
